Day 1 : Arrival Delhi
Meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight stay at
Hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Reaching Jaipur, check into
a hotel. Our representative assists you in your check in process
at the hotel. Evening is free for shopping around local market.
Jaipur is also known as the Pink City. It is the capital of
Rajasthan, which is famous for its majestic forts, opulent
havelis, beautiful lakes and sand dunes. The history of Jaipur
takes us about 300 years back in time, when the Mughal Empire in
India was on its decline. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Jaipur
Morning visit the Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the capital of
this state long time ago. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of
Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant
back.
In the afternoon, take sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Jaipur is the
capital of Rajasthan. It was painted in pink colour a century
ago in honour of a visiting prince. Ever since, Jaipur has
retained this pink colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a
notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. While in Jaipur,
visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory and Ram Niwas
Gardens. Drive past the Hawa Mahal. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra. En route visit the Fatehpur Sikri.
The Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585. It is one of
the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its
height. Though the city is in ruins now, it is a must visit
place for all those who visit Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is a place
where one should spend some quality time. The sunset over the
ruins is a sight to cherish.
Arrive Agra, check into the hotel. Our representative assists
you in your check in process at the hotel. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 05 : Agra - Varanasi
(Overnight Train)
In the morning visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal
Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. This
monument is made of white marble and it took 22 years to get
constructed.
Then visit the Agra fort. Built originally as a military
establishment by Akbar in 1565, this red sandstone building was
partially converted into a palace during the time of Shah Jahan.
In the afternoon visit Itmad-ud-daulah. This tomb belongs to the
father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir (Chief
Minister) of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built
by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. In the evening proceed for
Railway station to catch the train for Varanasi.
Day 06 : Arrive Varanasi
On arrival at Varanasi our representative will take you to the
hotel for check-in. Afternoon visit Sarnath.
Sarnath is a small village in Uttar Pradesh, India, about 13 km
north-east of Varanasi. It's famous as the site of the deer park
where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma and also where the
original Sangha was formed. after sightseeing back to varansi
and Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Varanasi
After breakfast we will take you for boat cruise at river Ganges
to observe the life of pilgrims who pray by the Ghats of
Varanasi. Afternoon half day city tour of Varanasi. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 08 : Varanasi - Delhi (Overnight Train)
After breakfast free and afternoon transfer Varanasi Railway
Station and overnight train
Day 09 : Delhi - Departure
Early Morning Pickup from Railway Station, fresh in hotel,
after sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Jama Mosque, Red Fort
from outside, Rajghat, Mahtma Gandhi's cremation place, drive
past through India Gate, President House, Rajpath, Government
buildings, Qutab Minar. and evening transfer to Airport. |
